Herbs for Seasonal Allergies

Featured plant allies: Goldenrod, Mullein, and Nettle

This class will explore herbal preparations tailored for managing seasonal allergies. This session focuses on plant allies, known for their ability to aid in allergy symptoms. Through hands-on learning experiences, ceremonial practices, and in-depth learning, participants will dive into the properties of Goldenrod, Mullein, and Nettle.

Participants will receive curated herb samples and delve into the creation of specialized herbal preparations, such as teas or tinctures, aimed at alleviating seasonal allergy symptoms - itchy eyes, runny nose, and scratchy throat. Beyond their physical attributes, this class will delve into the emotional and spiritual healing aspects of these plants, fostering a holistic understanding fostering a holistic understanding of their abilities to assist in healing.

We will also learn a short ceremonial practice to fortify your connection with the balancing energies of these herbs, empowering you to harness nature's allies effectively for addressing seasonal allergy discomfort.

About the Herbal Healing Series:

This series of classes centers around herbal actions and remedies for a specific healing or helping role.  Students will get samples of the herbs to use in teas or other preparations, but the goal is to learn about specific plant healers.  We will use the herbs as teas or topical applications in each class. Each class will include a small ceremony or meditation to help the learner become more attuned the the healing ability of the specific plant we are working with. Students do not need to take the full series as the classes are not built upon each other.
