FULL MOON Cacao Ceremony - Saturday, August 17th

This ceremony celebrates the Aquarius full moon.  Aquarius, an air sign associated with innovation, freedom, and humanitarianism, encourages us to think outside the box, break free from conventional norms, and embrace our individuality. This full moon is a powerful time for insights and revelations that help us see the bigger picture and understand our place within the collective. Additionally, Aquarius emphasizes community and social connections, making it an ideal time to gather with others, share ideas, and support each other’s growth, fostering a sense of unity and collective healing.

Full moons are wonderful times for the heart-opening effects of cacao. Full moons are powerful times for healing, releasing, and letting go of what no longer serves us. They represent a time of completion and illumination, where energies are heightened, and emotions can come to the surface. A cacao ceremony during a full moon can amplify these healing and releasing energies, creating a potent space for transformation and connection.

Within the cacao ceremony, Andrea holds space for attendees to experience drinking cacao to connect with each other in new ways, and the ceremony is an opportunity to reconnect with ancient parts of ourselves that remember the simple power of gathering together in community.  ​All ceremonies begin with a cacao blessing, and give you a chance to learn about the cacao you are drinking, and how it was prepared. 

The ceremonial cacao that one drinks in a ceremony was sourced, made, and prepared with love and intention from growing to processing.  This year, I'm exploring a few different cacao sourced from family farms in Central and South America.  I will let you know about which cacao I chose for the ceremony during our time together.  ​

In ceremony, Andrea will guide the group through various exercises and experiences based on the intentions of the event. Some examples of guided experiences are: guided meditations, journaling, sound journeys, use of oracle cards, reiki or shamanic healing, dance and movement practices, and partner exercises.
